The focus of New Life Christian Academy
for the Performing Arts is to create,
“The Whole Child.”
The “Whole Child” concept, is a theorem in education where an educator guides a child to not be good at one set of skills, but to be good at multiple sets of skills. Most schools and childcare programs focus on teaching young minds solely academics and in many cases a child is produced that is very “book smart,” but socially inept. And vice-versa, where a school or childcare program focuses only on socialization skills, and there-by the child can play and get along with other children well, but they are missing some or all of the basic skills for transition into Kindergarten.
New Life Christian Academy for the Performing Arts will focus on creating a cohesive balance between the spiritual, academic, talents and social well being of the child, molding into existence the “Whole Child” or a “Well-rounded” child.
